Home Uplift provides professional exterior cleaning services, including pressure washing and soft washing for roofs, gutters, driveways, patios, decking, and solar panels.
We operate primarily across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and may travel further for larger projects.
Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided are estimates based on initial information and are subject to change following inspection.
Final pricing is confirmed after assessing:
- Surface condition and level of contamination
- Size of the area
- Access and working conditions
- Required treatments and services
Home Uplift uses a difficulty scale system to determine the level of work required. This is applied at our discretion following inspection to ensure fair and accurate pricing.
Quotes are valid for a limited time and may be updated if conditions change.
Optional Treatments and Services
Additional services may be recommended or requested, including:
- Chemical treatments (e.g. sodium hypochlorite, biocide)
- Re-sanding of block paving
- Sealing of surfaces
These are optional unless agreed in advance and will be included in the final quote where applicable.
Access and Preparation
Where additional work or costs are required beyond the agreed scope, extra charges may apply.
This includes:
- Moving furniture or obstacles (£10 charge)
- Additional materials required to complete the job
- Additional fuel costs where applicable
- Any extra services agreed with the customer
All additional charges will be clearly communicated and agreed before proceeding.
Health, Safety, and Property Care
Home Uplift uses professional-grade equipment and appropriate cleaning methods for each surface. However, exterior cleaning carries inherent risks, especially on older or previously damaged surfaces.
- Some surfaces may already be worn, fragile, or degraded
- High-pressure cleaning may expose pre-existing defects
- Older roofs, pointing, seals, and coatings may be compromised
By proceeding with the service, the customer acknowledges and accepts these risks. Home Uplift cannot be held responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, poor maintenance, or structural weaknesses.
Cleaning Risks and Surface Condition
Exterior cleaning carries inherent risks, particularly on older or previously damaged surfaces.
By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge:
- Cleaning may expose pre-existing damage
- Some surfaces may be fragile or degraded
- Protective coatings or sealants may already be worn or compromised
Home Uplift is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, structural weaknesses, or poor prior maintenance.
Roof, Gutter, and Surface Run-Off
Customers acknowledge that:
- Roof cleaning may result in debris entering gutters
- Gutter cleaning may cause debris to fall onto surrounding areas
- Cleaning one area may affect adjacent surfaces
Where related cleaning services are declined, Home Uplift is not responsible for any remaining debris or residue.
Weather Conditions
Customers must provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated or late cancellations may result in a fee at Home Uplift’s discretion.
Cancellations
Home Uplift reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service at any time for any reason.
Customers are not charged unless work has been carried out.
Payments and Completion
Payment terms will be agreed prior to work commencing.
Customers are only charged once the agreed work has been completed. Completion is defined as the full execution of the agreed cleaning process, not the final visual result.
Satisfaction and Complaints
Any issues must be raised within 48 hours of service completion to allow us to review and resolve the matter.
