Why a Clear, Fair Pricing Model Matters
A spotless patio, driveway, or deck does more than improve curb‑appeal—it delivers a genuine Home Uplift that boosts resale value and makes every outdoor moment more enjoyable. At Home Uplift, we believe you deserve a pricing system that is as straightforward as the shine we leave behind. That’s why we’ve created a simple, six‑point dirt‑assessment scale that translates directly into a transparent, customized quote—no hidden fees, no guesswork.
Difficulty Scale

1
Standard Clean
The most common level. Light dirt and general build-up with straightforward access.

1.2
Moderate Build-Up
More visible staining, algae, and dirt build-up, with slightly more difficult access.

1.4
Heavy Contamination
Strong organic growth and heavier dirt levels, often combined with more challenging access.

1.6
Severe Restoration
Heavy build-up with significant growth and very difficult access, requiring more time and care.

Scale of the Job
The size and condition of the area play a major role in pricing. Larger areas may be quicker to clean, while smaller areas with heavy build-up can take more time and treatment. We assess each job individually to ensure pricing reflects the work required and delivers a high-quality result.

Chemicals
Cleaning treatments are included in the overall price based on the needs of the job. We use professional solutions such as sodium hypochlorite, surfactants, and biocides.
All chemicals are calculated in the same way, based on the size of the area and the level of contamination to ensure effective and consistent results.

Sanding
For surfaces like block paving, re-sanding and sealing may be recommended after cleaning to restore stability and improve protection.
Sanding and sealing are both calculated in the same way, based on the size of the area and the amount of product required.

Extras
If furniture or obstacles need to be moved before cleaning, a small charge of £10 will be applied.
Additional costs may apply depending on the specific requirements of the job, and these will always be discussed in advance.
Important Note
All the information on this page is intended as a general guide to how our pricing is structured. While we provide clear explanations of the factors involved — including cleaning level, treatments, and additional services — every property is different.
Final pricing is determined following an inspection of the job. This allows us to accurately assess the condition of the surfaces, the level of build-up, access requirements, and the work involved. From this, we assign the appropriate scale and provide a fair, tailored quote.
This approach ensures you receive an accurate price that reflects the actual work required, with no guesswork.
